Diabetes Education: The Sweet Spot Series on Navigating Holiday Desserts at 10:30 a.m.

Location: Location: Remington Volunteer Fire Department

This is a free Diabetes education class hosted by Remington Drug Store and offers information on how to navigate holiday desserts. This class will be held in the second floor training room of the Remington Volunteer Fire Department. In December, they will host this informative session on December 14 and December 28 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. For more information visit their website.

STEAM School Parent-Child Art Class at 11 a.m.

Location: 9670 Maidstone Road, Delaplane

The STEAM School is hosting this event and requests participants register by emailing them directly. The STEAM School holds homeschool classes in the sciences for children ages 5 to 9. For more information on STEAM School please visit their website or Facebook page.

USCF Warrenton, VA Chess Club from 6:45 until 10:45 p.m.

Location: 73 Culpeper Street, Warrenton

This evening is for chess lovers of all ages and skill level – beginners through masters. The United States Chess Federation (USCF) affiliated Warrenton VA Chess Club meets every Thursday to host tournaments. Monthly prize money is given to the best score. Wreaths Across America with Families 4 Fauquier

Location: Arlington Cemetery, Meet-up at Vienna Metro at 7:15 a.m.

Join Families4Fauquier volunteers and help lay wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery starting at 8 a.m. at Arlington Cemetery. You can also help by donating wreaths on their fundraising page. Please note: This particular event page is to help coordinate efforts of volunteers from Fauquier County, Virginia who wish to support Families 4 Fauquier and their efforts to participate in Wreaths Across America.
