Allegro Community Players Auditions

Location: Allegro Community School of the Arts, 20 Main Street, Warrenton

Allegro Community Players will be presenting Disney’s Little Mermaid. Auditions will be held Jan 18 & Jan 20. Call backs (if necessary) will be on Jan 22. Allegro is seeking actors ages 11 through adults. Performance dates will be April 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., April 22 at 3 p.m., and April 28 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.. Truth about Autoimmune by the Academy of Health from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Culinary Adventures – 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Location: Airlie, 6809 Airlie Road

This is the first event in a new series at Airlie which will feature exceptional wines from Australia. Their talented culinary team and Kelly Allen of Free Run Wine Merchants have collaborated on a menu with pairings from Chalk Hill (McLaren Vale), Ashbrook Estate (Margaret River), Beelgara (Riverina), and Ninth Island (Tasmania). Location: Lord Fairfax Community College, Warrenton

Join in on this free garden workshop hosted by Fauquier Education Farm. The event will take you through the full calendar year in the garden, with suggestions about what you should be planting and when each crop will produce its best. Location: Bull Run Mountains Conservancy, Broad Run

Bull Run Mountains Conservancy is presenting an event that discusses how the geology of a landscape determines what plant life can subsist there.
