Piedmont Symphony Orchestra (PSO), based in Warrenton, VA, has organized a hurricane benefit concert: ROCK-4-RELIEF to raise money and support for the people impacted by Hurricane Harvey. This concert features the PSO and their signature Rock Band, along with several of the PSO’s most beloved artistic partners spanning several seasons. The concert will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Highland Center for the Arts, 597 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA 20186.
Featured artists include The PSO with PSO Rock Band, singers from The Reston Chorale, Soprano Emily Casey, Conductor/Cellist Jason Love, and the Silver Tones Swing Band. The list of artists continues to grow. All performers and production partners have donated their services for this effort and performance.
As a part of the effort, the PSO is partnering with local businesses to coordinate fundraising drives for the October 8 concert. Businesses interested in becoming involved should contact Kate Garretson, General Manager, 703–965-2288 or kate.garretson.violin@gmail.com.
A online ticket portal will be available soon through the PSO website at: www.piedmontsymphony.org.
