Holiday Magic for the Boys and Girls Club of Fauquier

For the third year, Lindsey Forsten of Profecta Marketing and Tyler Ross of Ross Real Estate are partnering together to put on a Holiday Magic event for the Boys and Girls Club of Fauquier.

On Tuesday, December 18, Forsten and Ross will bring the North Pole to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fauquier. Gumdrop Square has generously offered to lend a hand in bringing the vision to life. Santa and his elves (Forsten and Ross) will arrive at the Boys and Girls Club at 4 p.m. with the Warrenton Fire Department, escorted by the Warrenton Police Department. The children and the elves, along with volunteers, Fauquier deputies and Warrenton police, will play in Santa’s workshop with the children preparing for Christmas at different stations (i.e. snowball throwing, Christmas-wrapping competitions, building gingerbread houses, etc.) Each child will have the chance to share wish lists with Santa and bring home a present to put under the tree. The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance will be bringing instruments and music for the children to enjoy!

In addition to presenting this one day of Holiday Magic, Forsten and Ross recognize that the Boys and Girls Club has many ongoing needs. With help from the community, they are helping them purchase items for the Club to continue making it a wonderful place for the children to come spend time after school and Christmas presents for the kids.

How can you help? You can purchase an item for the Club from the Boys and Girls Club’s Amazon registry, or you can sponsor a Boys and Girls Club sweatshirt so every child can have one. Also consider designating the Fauquier Boys and Girls Club as your charity of choice on Amazon Smile as you shop this holiday season.
