Are you looking for a way to make a difference during the holiday season? The PATH Volunteer Center has a solution. They have created “It’s the Season of Giving” on their letsvolunteer.org website to share seasonal volunteer opportunities to get you in the holiday spirit.
Many of us want to contribute our time and talents to worthy causes this time of year, but finding the right fit for your schedule and interests can seem complicated. By making an account on letsvolunteer.org, your interests will be matched to volunteer needs in the area. All holiday volunteer listings can be found under the “It’s the Season of Giving” header after you’re signed into letsvolunteer.org.
If your organization has a need for volunteers, no matter the season, this link will help you get started: http://www.letsvolunteer.org/need/?s=1&need_init_id=513.
PATH Volunteer Center Manager Lynn Lauritzen says, “It’s my hope that we’ll have lots of volunteers help others during this holiday season. We have opportunities perfect for all ages, as well as for families and groups. But it doesn’t stop after the holidays are over. Letsvolunteer.org has hundreds of volunteer openings listed year round. Our community volunteers make an incredible difference in the lives of others.”
Current holiday season volunteer needs include everything from tree decorating to bell ringing to making holiday ornaments for our military. Check back often, as volunteer opportunities are updated daily.
