UVA Community Credit Union and the Salvation Army present “Fill a Stocking” Program for local teens

Each year, local children 14 years old and younger receive gifts from the Angel Tree program. However, often older siblings don’t receive gifts because there aren’t any that match their interests. This year, you can help UVA Community Credit Union make a difference in these teenagers’ lives.

Make the holidays brighter for a local teen (ages 14-17 years) by purchasing and donating gift cards, accessories, winter apparel, or personal care items from now until Friday, December 8.

“The Credit Union movement focuses on people helping people. This is a great way to be a part of something special,” says Rebecca Cardwell, VP of Community Relations, UVA Community Credit Union.

Lt. Rachel Martin, Culpeper – Warrenton Service Center Salvation Army, reminds us, “People in need are in a daily struggle, but Christmas has an Army. Join the fight for good.”

Stop by one of UVA Community Credit Union’s two branches, 484 Blackwell Road or 4257-A Aiken Drive in Warrenton to drop off your gifts by Friday, December 8. For more information, visit, uvacreditunion.org/fill-a-stocking.
