Wednesday, March 21

Fauquier Pickleball Play (indoors) from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Location: Vint Hill Community Center

To join in on this fun game, there is no experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy sneakers. Guest privileges are available for up to 2 sessions. A one-time fee of $10 for the season to join. Pickleball is a racquet sport combining elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It’s a fun, easy-to-learn game, that can develop into a quick and challenging competition for experienced players.

Wednesday, March 21

Job Fair from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Location: Lord Fairfax Community College Campus, Warrenton

This job fair features representatives from more than 25 businesses. Enjoy a free resume and interview etiquette class, hosted by the Virginia Employment Commission, offered from 3:00 p.m.  to 4:00 p.m.. The fair is sponsored by LFCC Workforce Solutions and The Fauquier Chamber. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress and bring copies of their resume. They’re urged to register online. Fauquier’s Viewfinders Camera Club begins at 10:00 a.m.

Location: Conference Center of Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton

This is annual Open House is a  free event . Prints on various media, equipment and demonstrations will be on view. Bring your photo questions for members to answer.

Friday, March 23

Women Build Trivia Night Fundraiser Event begins at 6:00 p.m.

Location: Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Warrenton

Join Fauquier Habitat’s Women Build event, which is family friendly and geared for all ages.

There will be a pasta dinner by Northside 29 at 6:00 pm., followed by the fun trivia games at 7:00 p.m.. The event will also feature silent and live auctions, and other goodies. Glow in the Dark Adult Easter Egg Hunt from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Location: Morias Vineyard & Winery, Bealeton

For those 21 years of age or older, join in on some fun. This is the fourth annual egg hunt for adults, held in the dark. Search the winery, in the dark, for eggs which contain some exciting prizes: vouchers, gift cards, free tastings, wine gear, and more. For more event information click here.

Beginner Sewing Workshop

Location: Little Pincushion Studio, Warrenton

This two hour small group is perfect for children to learn about the sewing machine and safely thread. Practice will culminate with a small sewing project. Saturday, March 24

Teddy Bear Picnic begins from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Location: Warrenton Community Center

Celebrate Sing With Your Child month by dancing, singing, and playing your morning away. There will be crafts, cookie decorating, and lots of musical fun. This year Families4Fauquier will be collecting supplies for Comfort Cases, a nonprofit which provides book bags filled with items for foster care children. The following items are being collected: new stuffed animals, pajamas, and personal care items.

Saturday, March 24

Bark-N-Que from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Location: Barrel Oak Winery

Join Promises Animal Rescue at Barrel Oak Winery for the third annual Bark-N-Que event, raising money to vet, foster, and re-home German Shepherds and Labrador Retrievers in need. This event will feature a live band, silent and live auction, and dinner catered by Smokin Shawn’s BBQ. Tickets are required for this event. Monday, March 26

Shoe Drive Fundraiser from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Location: Allegro Community School of the Arts, Warrenton

Clean out the closets, and collect your gently used or new shoes you do not wear (any size from babies to adult). Bring them to Allegro Community School of the Arts, a nonprofit raising scholarships funds and helping third world countries at the same time.
