Prince William County Fair

The Monster Truck Racing League returns to the Prince William County Fair in Manassas for two nights of destruction. The line-up of monster trucks features local favorites who will battle in a tailgate-ripping wheelie contest, time trials and a no-time-limit freestyle showdown. The 2018 lineup includes Hurricane Force, Buckshot and Storm Damage. Monster truck rides will be available for purchase. The event this year also includes Quad Wars and the pro-mini monster truck Top Dog. The Monster Truck lineup is subject to change, but it runs rain or shine. Hot Air Balloon Festival and Airshow
5114 Ritchie Road, Bealeton

The Bealeton Flying Circus Air Show’s Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival weekend features an airshow Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and balloon launches very early (6:30 a.m.) Saturday and Sunday mornings and after both airshows, weather permitting. Other treats will include balloon demonstrations, tethered rides, airplane rides, balloon races – lots going on both days…plan to head out early.This is a busy weekend and you’ll want to get your spot before the crowds descend. Allegro Summer on the Green Concert Series: Dixie Powers Trio
Hotel Street, Warrenton. 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening in charming, historic Old Town Warrenton. The Dixie Power Trio is a four-piece group dedicated to the music and sounds of Louisiana. Formed in 1992, the band (led by tuba/bassist Andy Kochenour and cornet/accordionist Zack Smith) will typically play a gumbo of different styles including zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans jazz, funk, street parade, and rock. The songs are a mix of Louisiana-flavored originals and covers—all with a unique, happy-go-lucky attitude. There will be a pre-concert family time from 6:30 to 7:15 pm with activities and entertainment for children. Refreshments will be for sale at the concert location.
