Stand-Up Warrenton Comedy Show
Sibby’s Barbeque, 11 South Second Street, Warrenton. 7:30 p.m. 

Join your friends and neighbors for a night of comedy, right here in Old Town Warrenton! The show is produced and hosted by local comic, Mark Mensh, and local writer, Laura Lyster-Mensh. The show features up and coming DC area comedians who have recently appeared in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, and Atlanta. Come enjoy a plate of Warrenton’s best BBQ at Sibby’s on 2nd Street before the show. Doors open upstairs at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8pm. Yoga at Sunset

Open to all skill levels and taught by an experienced and qualified instructor, sunset yoga seems to be the perfect way to say goodbye to August, and the summer season. Sessions are held overlooking the beautiful views of the Crooked Run Valley, during the enchanting hour of sunset. This event is bring your own yoga mat and water, although a limited number of mats will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. This 45 minute walking tour travels the streets of Warrenton with author David Goetz. On this tour, visitors will explore three building murals hidden in Historic Downtown Warrenton. Discover their stories, the painters, and the marks they leave on Warrenton today. This event is perfect for art lovers and history lovers alike! Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption 5k/10k
Barrel Oak Winery, 3623 Grove Lane, Delaplane. 10 am & 11 am.

Come and race around the Barrel Oak Winery grounds on a grassy trail, and stay after to reward yourself with one of our award winning wines! This event will be benefiting Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption, a racing-neutral, non-profit greyhound rescue and adoption organization. The 10k starts at 10 am, and the 5k starts at 11 am. Whether you are there to run or to watch, who could go wrong with dogs and wine? Walkers, strollers and leashed pets are welcome to attend this event.
