Allegro Community School for the Arts’ Summer on the Green Concert Series and Warrenton Makes Music

Enjoy a great afternoon with family and friends at Eve Walker Park, where Allegro Community School for the Arts will be hosting a free day of fun! They will begin the afternoon with theatre games, cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, giant size games, and other fun kids activities. Then, at 7:30 they will have their main stage music for the Summer on the Green concert series featuring The Bottle Shop. And afterwards, enjoy a movie in the park. Summer Lovin’ 5K

Sky Meadows State Park, 11012 Edmonds Lane, Delaplane. 9-11 a.m.

Well-a well-a well-a, tell us more about the Summer Lovin’ 5K! Roots and Rocks Adventures is having a ’50s themed trail race- poodle skirts and hair gel encouraged. After the race, there will be a Grease-themed dance party with a runners’ recovery tent by Pivot Physical Therapy, as well as food, music, and prizes. Awards will be given for the top three finishers as well as for each ten-year age group.
