2019 Wegmans Great Meadow 4th of July Celebration

Enjoy a day of fun, family & fireworks at the 2019 Wegmans Great Meadow 4th of July Celebration! Gates open at 4 PM. There will be a huge variety of children’s activities included with your general admission purchase. To list a few: rock wall for climbing, pony rides ($5), moon bounces, slides, the famous rain machine, lasertag, and more!

The grand finale comes at dark with one of the metropolitan area’s biggest fireworks shows!

Warrenton 4th of July Parade
Old Town Warrenton | 10am

Join Families4Fauquier on Main Street in Old Town Warrenton to carry on the tradition of the 4th of July Parade. Decorate your trikes, bikes, wagons and strollers and walk with Uncle Sam down Main Street to the Courthouse where the Fauquier Community Band will be playing patriotic tunes.

Thursday, July 4
Celebrate America
9431 West Street, Manassas | 3 – 10pm

Celebrate America this Independence Day with one of the largest fireworks displays in Northern Virginia! The celebration surrounds the Manassas Visitor’s Center in the Historic Train Depot, the Harris Pavilion and the Manassas Museum. The Harris Pavilion will feature community contests from 3 pm – 5 pm. There will be a Bicycle Decorating Contest for the kids starting at 3 pm. At 4 pm, contestants of all ages will compete to blow the biggest bubblegum bubble in the Bubblegum Blowing Contest. Then at 5 pm, contestants of all ages will race to finish their watermelon the quickest in the Watermelon Eating Contest. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to any contest you wish to participate in.

Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come early to get the best seats on the Manassas Museum Lawn for the firework display at 9:15 p.m.!

Summer Sounds Concerts at the Harris Pavilion
9201 Center Street, Manassas | 6:30pm

Each year, the Center for the Arts, in partnership with Micron Technology Foundation, the City of Manassas and the Harris Pavilion offers a series of free concerts. The popular concerts are scheduled on Saturday evenings throughout the summer. Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnics to enjoy these concerts with your friends and neighbors!

Old Bust Head Car Show

GOLFERS NEEDED! Registration for the Sweet Julia Grace Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament is now open.

The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation hosts several signature events each year. The purpose of these events are to raise support for all the families and Raindancers we provide services to, and to offer an entertaining event for the community to learn more about who we serve and why we do what we do. SJGF founder Sara Knight, says, “Our goal has always been to have affordable, family-friendly, community-uniting fundraisers. People have an opportunity to come together and have fun while giving back at the same time.“

Register as a Foursome or as an Individual Golfer. Four-person scramble begins with a shotgun start at 9:30am. Plenty of food & drinks, lots of great raffle prizes, silent auction items, player contests, player gifts, Margarita, Bloody Mary Stations, and more!
