2018 LightUP Fest at One Loudoun

The LightUP Fest is an eight-week exhibition that combines the latest lighting technology and artisan crafted lanterns to showcase the rich heritage, tradition and culture of the world in one of the largest light displays on the East Coast. With 77 stunning displays featuring over one million lights, there are 4 major themes in the exhibit – Tour of Fantasy; Freedom America; Mysterious East and Magical World. One of the featured highlights unique to this exhibit is the display of the Capitol Hill Building. There are also many interactive segments well suited for Instagram-worthy moments. In addition to the incredible light displays, there are daily acrobatic performances, unique arts and craft showcases, and a wide variety of unique cuisine including street food from China available for the enjoyment of the festival goers. https://www.facebook.com/events/498355630680694/

Small Business Saturday in Old Town Warrenton
Come down to Old Town on November 24th for Small Business Saturday to support the local businesses! The merchants have come together to raffle off our first ever Holiday Shopping Spree in Old Town. Enter to win at our Welcome Table in front of the Post Office and pick up your Shop Small swag before you start exploring. The winner of the shopping spree will be announced live on Facebook at 3 p.m. that day. Big Band Holiday Swing with the Silver Tones

Swing into the holidays this year this weekend! The Silver Tones Swing Band and friends are excited to bring audiences a big band variety show to kick off your holiday season right! Special guests the Blue Ridge Barbershoppers and Gene Bates will join the band, Wendy, Doug, and the vocal trio to bring you holiday big band favorites, and so much more. There will be a designated dance area in addition to stadium seating in the Gregory Family Theater. Sky Meadows’ Historic Area comes alive with the sights, sounds and smells of the holidays. To kick off our holiday season, the Historic Area will be filled with the aroma of tasty holiday treats cooking over the hearth in the Log Cabin, costumed interpreters telling stories of holidays past, as well as sounds of the season in Mount Bleak House. A Christmas Carol, the Musical

Reliving moments from his misspent youth and faced with his greed and future fate, Scrooge has a change of heart and makes amends.
