Haymarket Day
15000 Washington Street, Haymarket | 10am – 5pm

Haymarket’s biggest event of the year, attended by over 20,000 spectators and 200 vendors. Enjoy a home town street festival including: parade featuring local schools, performers, and law enforcement, led by this year’s Grand Marshal. There will be two main stages. Located at each stage will be a beer garden as well as numerous food vendors.

Saturday, October 19, 25, and 26
BRMC’s 20th Annual Halloween Safari
17405 Beverley Mill Road, Broad Run | 7pm

2019 marks the 20th year that Bull Run Mountains Conservancy has hosted the Annual Halloween Safari. Come for a non-scary night hike where you will meet native “wildlife” that will perform natural history skits. Then relax by the bonfire, roast marshallows, drink cider or cocoa and listen to live music. Fun for everyone! Advance reservations suggested. Bring a flashlight and wear appropriate shoes.

Stand up Warrenton @ Gloria’s

Stand Up Warrenton will continue their stand-up comedy nights at the Gloria Faye Dingus Center. The lineup will be announced soon: they’re bringing in funny comics of all types from all over the DMV, right here to Warrenton.

Comedy Halloween Murder Mystery Show DC Improv
5615 Wellington Road, Gainesville | 8 – 10:30pm

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Die Laughing Productions is ready to scare up some laughs with the world’s greatest murder mystery comedy show, Halloween Whodunit. You’re on the set of a horror movie titled: The Friday the 13th After Next. Things take a horrific turn and the movie set becomes a crime scene. Lights, camera, Murder! You will see dead people.

Kid Pan Alley 20th Anniversary Concert
291 Gay Street, Washington| 7 – 9pm

Celebrate 20 years of Kid Pan Alley and the release of their new album, Best Friends, at the Little Washington Theatre. The concert features the Kid Pan Alley Band and horn section along with Paul Reisler & Three Good Reasons and the Kid Pan Alley chorus.

Over the past 20 years, Kid Pan Alley has written over 2,700 songs with over 65,000 children. Their songs have been recorded by artists including Amy Grant, Sissy Spacek, Delbert McClinton, Cracker, Kix Brooks, Nashville Chamber Orchestra, Corey Harris, Suzy Bogguss and many others. There are so many fantastic songs and they will be sharing the best of them at the concert.

2nd Annual Harry Potter Fall Festival

Grab your cloaks, brooms and wands! Muggles ….. are you ready to join the Wizards of Hogwarts!?! Vendors from ALL over (Support Local Small Businesses), live music, costume contest, themed activities and crafts, and more.

Sip & Paint with Orchard Branch
4366 Stillhouse Road, Hume | 11 – 1:30pm


Create a wine country sign from a Philip Carter Winery barrel stave, even if you have no experience! The folks at Orchard Branch provide all the necessary supplies and instruction, and you take home your own masterpiece!

This 2.5 hour event starts at only $35 and includes all art supplies, an awesome staff, and a lot of fun. Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without libations–Philip Carter will have theiraward-winning wines ready and available for purchase by the glass or bottle when you arrive!

Don’t worry! Absolutely NO art experience is necessary! Kim Wilson, the artist of the Orchard Branch Collection, will walk you through every step of your creative process!
