Halloween Hoopla at the Fauquier County Public Library
11 Winchester Street, Warrenton | 10:30 – 11:30am

Preschoolers and Rising Kindergartners are invited to a not-too-scary story time filled with stories, songs, crafts, and rhymes. Come in costume and trick-or-treat around the library. Finish with a craft activity. Parents and caregivers must remain in the children’s area during story time.

Virginia’s Heritage Festival: Celebrating Virginia’s Customs, Cultures, and Cuisines
Effingham Manor & Winery | 14325 Trotters Ridge Place, Nokesville | 12 – 5pm

Come celebrate the best of Virginia’s customs, cultures, and cuisines at a weekend long festival featuring orchards, farmers, musicians, oyster farms, craftspeople, and wine. Guests are invited to taste and sample all that the festival has to offer, and to really enjoy a more traditional glimpse into Virginia’s Heritage.

The Cabin Raiders will perform the“Old Timey” music of the Commonwealth, a musical style which preceded Blue Grass and which is celebrated around the country at festivals and in small dance halls and gatherings. Locally sourced foods, such as oysters from the Chesapeake and meats and artisanal cheeses from local farms and markets will reflect the culinary experiences that have been served on Virginia’s tables for centuries.

The 11th Annual Veterans Parade will be held to honor all Veterans and their families.

We hope to come together to support the Leigh family. The Leigh family is local to Warrenton, VA. They currently have two children, suffering from two different types of cancer. Their oldest son, Kaleb, is currently fighting his third round of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Their youngest son, Noah, is currently in remission from osteosarcoma. The costs associated with having two children go through cancer treatment are astronomical. Please join the community for live music, performances from various local groups, a huge silent auction, vendors, many children’s activities, a visit with Santa, and SO MUCH MORE!

SOHO DOWN Band makes their debut performance at Club Eclipse, bringing country music for singing and dancing all night.

The 12th Annual Harvest on the Half Shell: Wine, Beer, Cider & Mead Oyster Roast
Philip Carter Winery | 4366 Stillhouse Road, Hume | 11am – 7pm

Join Philip Carter Winery for the weekend event of the season and the start of Virginia Oyster Month! Tickets are $10 per person in advance ($15 at the event) and include samples of 4 wines from Philip Carter, 3 craft beers from Front Royal Brewing Company, 2 hard ciders from Gnarled Orchard, and 1 mead from Misty Mountain. Live music and yard games in the vineyard. Oysters and other seafood will be available for purchase by Blue Ridge Seafood.
