Homesteaders of America Conference
Warren County Fairgrounds, 26 Fairground Rd Front Royal.

Homesteaders of America is an organization created by homesteaders, for homesteaders. Founder Amy Fewell says, “We believe in living a simple life. We believe in modern and conservative homesteading. We are men, women, children, old, young, college educated and high school drop outs. We are simply people taking control of our lives—growing gardens, raising farm animals, and becoming self-sufficient—in a backyard, on a rooftop, or on 100 acres.” Each year, Homesteaders of America hosts a conference featuring demonstrations, workshops, and speakers from across the country and beyond. KIDsteaders get to meet other kids living the same lifestyle, and experience fun activities and demos at the conference. Adults get to enjoy a family friendly atmosphere and learn from professional and experienced teachers, authors, and lecturers like Joel Salatin, Eustace Conway, Stacy Lyn Harris, Off Grid with Doug and Stacy, and more. In between speakers, enjoy demonstrations, mingle with homesteading vendors, visit with your favorite speakers, and grab a snack or lunch. https://homesteadersofamerica.com/2018-conference.
