Festive Holiday Cocktails

When December rolls around, it’s time for holiday parties! Treat your guests to delicious — and decadent — cocktails from Harry’s Pub at Airlie. 

Peppermint White Christmas 

  • Candy canes
  • White Crème de Cacao
  • Champagne

Directions: Garnish rim of champagne flute with crushed candy canes. Fill one third of the glass with Crème de Cacao and top with champagne. Add candy cane to garnish.

 

Raspberry Russian 

  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. Chambord
  • 1 oz. heavy cream
  • 3 fresh raspberries

Directions: Muddle raspberries, add ice. Add the heavy cream, Chambord, and vodka. Stir and serve.

 

Peppermin-tini 

  • 1-1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz. peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz. Half & Half
  • Candy cane stick

Directions: Garnish martini glass rim with crushed candy canes. Shake and strain vodka, schnapps, and Half & Half into glass. Add candy cane stick as “stirrer.”

 

Gingerbread Martini 

  • 1 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz. Frangelico
  • 1/2 oz. butterscotch schnapps
  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • Float of dark rum

Directions: Shake and strain the vanilla vodka, Frangelico, and butterscotch schnapps into a highball or martini glass with ice. Top with ginger beer. Float dark rum on top. Use crushed gingerbread cookies to garnish rim of glass.

 

Peppermint Patty 

  • 1 oz. White Creme de Cacao
  • 1 oz. Cream
  • 1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
  • 1/2 oz. Godiva Liqueur

Directions: Garnish martini glass rim with crushed candy cane. Shake and strain all ingredients into glass. Add candy cane stick as “stirrer.”
