Now offered twice weekly, this free homework help session is geared for elementary and middle school children. Assistance is provided by Liberty High School National Honor Society members. 5th Annual Shakespeare in the ‘Burg Theater Festival
Location: The Hill School’s Sheila Johnson Center for the Performing Arts, Middleburg
This year marks the return of Shakespeare in the Square (New York City) performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream and performances of winning plays from the international one-act playwriting competition. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be presented on Saturday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. A brunch, with performances of the winning one-act plays, will be on Sunday, April 8, at 11 a.m. Shakespeare in the Square actors will present workshops at the Hill School, with plans underway for other local schools to be involved. The STEAM School Open House from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

This open house will also provide a trial class of homeschooling classes. The STEAM School is a part-time homeschooling co-op with the purpose of bringing together homeschooling families to engage in real-world problem solving and learning through play. This sing-a-long event is perfect for those who love princesses. Meet meet Belle, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Elsa, Snow White, Ariel and many others during this event performed by Allegro Community School of the Arts students. Plus participants will enjoy a sneak preview of the Allegro Community Player’s upcoming performance of The Little Mermaid.
